I have always found the service the River Rock to be top notch. While this was a bad experience, there is something about this hotel that keeps us coming back and we are already booking another stay in October. We were satisfied with the way this was dealt with. When told about this the front desk did apologize and they acted quickly to rectify the situation. Had we not caught this my daughter would have gotten it stuck in her.
When we put the sofa bed down we found a thumb tack in the bedding. Not what you would expect when paying that kind of money. We asked to be changed and the hotel did change us to another one bedroom this one had zero view. What we got was a one bedroom with no window in the bedroom only the living room.
We stayed in a one bedroom marina view so paying top dollar we expected excellence. While we got and excellent deal we were quickly disappointed in the room we were given. My daughter, myself and my best friend decided to have a one night stay at the River Rock and booked a room on a whim. My family and I have frequently used this hotel and normally have loved it.
